City of Smyrna Declares November 15, 2011 as National Memory Screening Day
Smyrna Mayor, Max Bacon declared November 15 as National Memory Screening day and has committed the city’s support of a health fair to offer a variety of free health screenings for seniors. Assisted Living Locators was invited to host a booth at this event to further educate seniors and their families about helpful options for locating assisted living services as well as to promote memory screening as it relates to Alzheimer’s and assisted living options. According to the article (based on investigations conducted by The Seattle Times) ethical issues about how compensation is paid, how well customers are being served and the level of professional training received by eldercare advisors. (ATLANTA, GA) – September 15 marks the two year anniversary of the opening of Assisted Living Locators Atlanta (ALLA) and to date we have assisted more than 1,000 clients and successfully placed more than 100 seniors.
