With more than 15 years of successful executive level experience in Internet and international marketing and sales as well as the ability to speak fluent English, Spanish and French, Maria de la Guardia is able to communicate with a variety of people. Coupled with being tri-lingual, de la Guardia has a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the College of Charleston (Charleston, SC) and a Masters of Business Administration from George Washington University (Washington, DC).

As part owner of Strength of Nature, a Georgia based consumers products company, de la Guardia has honed a keen business sense but also possesses a strong desire to work with people on a personal level. Thus, when the opportunity with Assisted Living Locators™ Atlanta presented itself she embraced the opportunity to utilize her people skills and business acumen to help others. With Assisted Living Locators™ Atlanta, she is able to provide a complete personalized service to the local community that is unique, well tested and tailored to the specific needs of Seniors’ and their families in Georgia; and she couldn’t be happier.

In her new stead as co-owner of Assisted Living Locators™ Atlanta, Maria earned a Professional Development Certificate in Gerontology from Kennesaw State University’s in May 2010. She also volunteersibrosis Foundation and supports the March of Dimes, the Lymphoma and Leukemia Societies as well as St. Jude’s for Children. De la Guardia is also heavily involved in liaison activities in her community between the Collier Hills Civic Association and the Greystone Garden Club. Professionally, she holds membership in Senior Care Network Niche, Senior Services of North Fulton, Cobb Services for the Elderly, and DeKalb Senior Provider Network, Technology Association of Georgia and Startup Chicks Atlanta.
